Summary / Abstract:

LTMonografijoje aptariami bendrieji gretinamosios semantikos principai ir turinys. Svarbiausiais principais laikoma gretinimo vienetų palyginamumas (tais pačiais principais grindžiamas gretinamosios medžiagos aprašymas) ir lygiavertiškumas, suponuojantis nepriklausomo nuo gretinamų kalbų, neutralaus gretinimo etalono pasirinkimą. Daug dėmesio skiriama pagrindiniams leksinės semantikos vienetams -leksinei reikšmei, žodžio semantinei struktūrai, semantinei grupei. Pagal šiuos vienetus skiriami trys gretinimo lygmenys: sememos, žodžio ir semantinės grupės. Šie lygmenys atitinka struktūrinį gretinimo aspektą. Šalia pastarojo autorius aptaria ir kognityvinį aspektą, kurio esmę sudaro žodžio reikšmės gretinimas platesniame mentalinių struktūrų fone, konceptu raiškos kalbose bendrybės ir skirtybės. Tokiu būdu atskleidžiama kalbos pasaulėvaizdžio ypatybės kaip skirtingos pasaulio konceptu-alizacijos rezultatas kalbinėse kultūrinėse bendruomenėse. ENThe monograph discusses the general principles and content of comparative semantics. The most important principles are considered the comparability and equivalence of the units of comparison (the same principles are used to base the description of the materials of comparison), presupposing the choice of a neutral reference for comparison, independent of the compared languages. A lot of attention is dedicated to the main units of lexical semantics, i. e. the lexical meaning, the semantic structure of the word and the semantic group. According to the said units three levels of comparison are distinguished: sememes, word groups and semantic groups. The said levels correspond to the structural aspect of comparison, apart from which, the author also discusses the cognitive aspect, the essence of which is formed by comparison of the meaning of the word on a broader background of mental structures as well as similarities and differences of expression of concepts in languages. In this way the peculiarities of language worldview are revealed as the result of a different conceptualization of the world in language and cultural communities.
