ENThis book is the work produced by author's accumulated sociological experience and theoretical explorations of sociological knowledge. Thus, it does not purport to be survey-type and structuring experience and insights of other authors. When writing the book, the author was accompanied by constant thought: to what extent our sociological self-perception and cognition are adequate to surrounding reality? To what extent it coincides to the world we live in? He has also been concerned whether we are able to accept and appreciate the specificity of our own, Lithuanian world and its unique features? And if so, whether we are able to adapt others' experience and in other cultures emerged cognitive methods of social reality to our needs? Definitely in creative manner. Whether instead of a mechanical replication we have to pay more attention to more original methods, which conforms to not only our world, but also stimulates outspread of our own sociological thinking culture? In the first chapter of monograph, the discrepancy of social reality and the problem of its cognition are examined. The second chapter focuses on post-modern state of social reality and theoretical structures of its cognition. The third one presents method of qualitative structures and its sociological explication. The fourth one defines social tension fields. In the fifth chapter socioethnogenesis is addressed as method of sociological understanding of Lithuanian reality and visual design of that understanding. Each chapter is finished by tailpiece and literature list.
