Summary / Abstract:

[Iš leidinio]With the help of theoretical and empirical investigation the article proves that teachers' negative attitude to integration of the disabled at schools is associated with a more general conviction - a negative attitude to any more powerless (in cognitive or social aspect) pupil on the whole. It shows that the negative attitude to integration merges from the segregationally convictions of the teachers. Using factor analysis and multiple regressions as statistic investigative means it is proves that segregationally attitude in its own way induces even more universal c convictions namely authoritarian convictions. Segregationally attitude of the teachers have a very high significance of a positive and statistic correlation with other dimensions of educational authoritarianism: 1) positive attitude to corporal punishment 2) positive attitude to improper psychological sanctions 3) worshipping quantitative assessment 4) negative attitude to pedagogical improvisation and educational novelties 5) with general educational authoritarianism. When the dimensions of authoritarianism are defined by independent variable and segregationally attitudes by dependent variable there are received fairly persuasive parameters of the regression model - r=0,59 (r2=0,35), p<0,000. Conclusions of the investigation are based on the data of written anonymous questioning of 598 Lithuanian teachers.
