Summary / Abstract:

ENThis work helps to establish or recognize a level of the curricula, to substantiate a methodology, and to test it in concrete programs. By applying a substantiated methodology, the level of a curriculum is evaluated not only in the area of knowledge and studies, but also in respect to the level of competence. Since more and more priority is being given to professional activities, and a person’s competence, as opposed to qualification, becomes more important, it is topical then for the creation and implementation of the curriculum that competence phenomenon is used to establish the level that emphasizes the development of person’s internal potential in professional activities. This is why preparing not for a concrete job but for activities requires providing for, when creating and evaluating curricula, a structure of activities, on the basis of which the curriculum could seek to ensure that goals to develop competence are met. This work seeks to solve not only the scientific problem of harmony of levels of activities, competence, and curriculum, but provides a tool for those who create, implement, and evaluate various curricula and human resources development programs: 1. Reveals the relations between the levels of activities, competence, and curriculum, in accordance to which we can analyze programs and evaluate the levels of competence they develop; 2. Substantiates and creates the level of competence and scope model-matrix, which can help to evaluate levels of competence development in various studies directions in the programs and the scope of comparing the same direction in vocational and higher education programs; 3. The principles of creating programs developing competence are substantiated.
