Summary / Abstract:

[Iš leidinio]Reikšminiai žodžiai: School headmasters' attitude; Teachers' attitude; Upbringing of students with specil needs.

Application of the method of writing aimed at revealing the expression of the mentioned attitude and conducting a comparative analysis of such data. The analysis of the investigation data has shown that the attitude concerning qualification events dedicated to the upbringing of students with special needs concur among the analysed groups, though it differs as regards the adaptation of such students at school. While investigating the factors that can influence teachers’ attitude towards the upbringing of students with special needs, it was established that the abovementioned attitude is being associated with the working experience of teaching students with special needs and special pedagogical competency.
