Summary / Abstract:

LTStraipsnyje analizuojama Lietuvos visuomenės vystymosi modelio pasirinkimo problematika socialinio teisingumo sampratos ir jo įgyvendinimo požiūriu. Autoriai atskleidžia Lietuvos visuomenės raidos modelio pobūdį ir pateikia kelis susijusius teorinius socialinio teisingumo apibūdinimus, pabrėždami tokių apibūdinimų sudėtingumą ir bendrų vertinimo kriterijų stoką. Tačiau straipsnyje pateikiamos visuomenės socialinės raidos charakteristikos atskleidžia realius socialinio teisingumo bei jo vertinimo aspektus. Daugiausia dėmesio straipsnyje skiriama socialinio teisingumo sampratai bei Lietuvos visuomenės socialinės raidos modeliui aptarti, pabrėžiama, kad įgyvendinant socialinį teisingumą galima sklandžiau ir efektyviau spręsti visuomenės socialinės raidos uždavinius. Straipsnyje, vertinant skirtingus socialinio teisingumo bruožus, bandoma atsakyti į klausimą, kodėl šis principas yra privalomas šiuolaikinės visuomenės socialinės raidos modelio elementas. ENThe authors of the present article analyse several aspects of the choice of a societal development model, as a Welfare model, form the perspective of social justice (equity). Social justice in the article is evaluated as a broad and complex category, which does not have a universal definition. Social justice encompasses the freedom of making one’s choice, correspondence to the needs of consumption and the remuneration for efforts. The authors confirm that, independently of the different approaches to the social justice category, its main aim is to increase the efficiency of societal development, diminish inner contradictions and increase the efficiency of the use of disposable resources. The authors show the development of the Lithuanian Welfare model to the liberal-marginal models direction, what poses problems of social exclusion and increase in social relations commodification. The authors emphasize that the greatest drawback of the reforms in Lithuania was the lack of social justice. During the years of restored independence in Lithuania, the distribution of goods was very unequal and socially unjust, even during the period of rapid economic development between 2003 and 2008. The feeling of non-solidarity among various social groups was also increasing. The main focus of attention in the article is on the necessity of social security, social inclusion and integration; it is stressed that a better and a more effective solution of the problems of the implementation of social justice is possible: in order to solve social justice problems, it is necessary to implement the new social administration and social research methods. In the article, an attempt is made to answer the question: what strategies and measures have to be considered in Lithuania in order to increase social justice? The authors answer it by proposing: 1) more societal solidarity, 2) work as inner necessity and concentrated efforts to reach the aims of people, 3) responsibility, 4) consciousness in relation to oneself and other people as well as the environment.
