Summary / Abstract:

LTLietuvos valdovų rūmų liekanos Vilniaus žemutinėje pilyje - vienas svarbiausių Lietuvos archeologijos paminklų, tyrinėtų XX-XXI a. sandūroje. Sukaupta (ir tebekaupiama, nes tyrimai dar nebaigti) archeologinė medžiaga suteikė naujų duomenų Vilniaus raidai pažinti: atidengtos mūrų liekanos patikslino ankstyvosios mūrinės statybos pradžią priešistorinio laikotarpio gyvenvietės vietoje, Lietuvos valdovų rezidencijos architektūrinį kitimą ir vystymąsi XIII-XVII a. Tyrimai rodo ir Lietuvos Didžiosios Kunigaikštystės (LDK) sąsajas su kitų kraštų kultūrinėmis erdvėmis, jų tarpusavio įtakas, Vilniaus dvaro ir periferijos ekonominį-kultūrinį ryšį bei įtaką, atskleidžia įvairius Lietuvos valdovo dvaro gyvenimo aspektus ir galėtų būti daugelio sričių - archeologijos, istorijos, architektūros, menotyros - mokslinių tyrimų objektas. ENThe subject of this research work - luxury of Vilnius ruler's palace at the end of the 13th - beginning the 16th centuries as the social phenomenon, the indicator of the social status which had been forming in the conditions of rising and strenghthening of the world (ellite). All the research is based on the data of the archeological research in Vilnius Lower castle (VLC). The chronology of the work is coincident with the early phase of the state's and, at the same time, Vilnius Court's formation in the 13th century and outreaches the reign of Žygimantas Augustas - transition from Gothic to Renaissance at the beginning of the 16th c. This period of formation and strengthening of the State is very often poorly reflected in the annals because of subjectivity of chroniclers or the lack of written sources of information. The shortage of documentary materials is supplemented with the scientific research - the archeological material of VLC. Exploring the remains of the rulers palace, several periods of their building and development were observed. In this case the archeological material from the rulers palace: a) the 13th - 14th centuries - the early period of construction; transitional stylistics (from Romanesque to Gothic) is observed in Europe, domination of historic ties of Lithuania and Eastern neighbors' culture as well as dominance of local architecture and culture has been typical at that time. b) Gothic period of construction - the end of 14th - 15th c.; is dominated by strong influence of western culture in architecture and social life; c) period of transition from Gothic to Renaissance - the end of 15th - the beginning of 16th centuries; it's on the stake of Middle and New ages. This work is targeted to restore the luxurious view of Lithuanian Grand Duke's Vilnius Court from the early formation at the 13th - till the beginning of the 16th centuries through domestic life, wearing styles, hobbies, spiritual and cultural settings - based on the archeological findings from VLC as well as on the supplementary historical sources and iconography.
