Summary / Abstract:

LTStraipsnyje aptariama modulinio profesinio mokymo programos konstravimo logika. Nusakomi mokymo programos įgyvendinimo proceso modernizavimo aspektai. Aptariama modulinio profesinio mokymo programos sandara. Atvejo analizė atskleidžia modulinio profesinio mokymo programos įgyvendinimo aspektus tarp modulinės mokymo programos vadovo, modulio vadovų ir mokytojų. ENPaper discusses the logics of modular vocational training programme design. The curriculum implementation process modernization aspects are outlined. It discusses the modular vocational training programme structure. The case study reveals the modular vocational training programme implementation aspects with regards to the modular training programme manager, module leaders and teachers. The Lithuanian education system emphasizes modular training as a form increasing the attractiveness of learning, although the modular training may be most effectively implemented in the vocational training system. Lithuania is in the process of introduction of a vocational modular training system. The vocational training aims to provide the competencies, thus, the competency based modules designed provide an opportunity to acquire qualification asunder. Vocational training institution must have the material and human resources in order to successfully carry out the modular training programmes. Modular training, based on the competency-based structure of the acquisitionof competencies in qualification structure, creates an opportunity to architecturally compose a training programme so that the training module would reflect the needs/demands of the labour market, society and student. When considering the qualification acquisition it is important to realize that it is composed of the corresponding modules, which, when passed, confer the corresponding competencies, and on their basis the qualification is being obtained.Scientific problem. The modular training was analysed by Jucevičienė Lithuania (1989), Laužackas (2005, 2008), Navikienė (2008), (2009), (2010) and other authors, but there is lack of practical modular training programme experience summarizing with the help of a scientific method. Various research projects' analysis enables us to define training module construction assumptions: the module development concept, the module structure (the teaching (learning) content presentation chronology layout, presentation hierarchy), but does not define and does not provide the experience of implementation, which raises the controversial question to be discussed: how to successfully implement a modular training programme? What parameters ensure a successful modular training programme implementation? The scientific insights obtained by summarizing the case study findings are focused on the scientific debate. Research object – modular vocational training programme. Research aim – to carry out a modular training programme implementation analysis. Research objectives: to discuss the modular vocationaltraining programme features; to reveal the problematic character of a modular vocational training programme implementation.
