Summary / Abstract:

LTStraipsnyje atskleidžiami pagrindiniai dviejų skirtingų procesų lytinio ir lytiškumo ugdymo, lytinio švietimo sampratų ir ugdytojų skirtumai, pateikiamas kokybinis katalikų tėvų, auginančių paauglius vaikus, diskusijų (angl. focus) grupės tyrimas. Tyrimo tikslas išsiaiškinti, ar tėvai suvokia lytinio švietimo, kuris mokykloje įtrauktas į mokymo turinį, pavojų ir kokių problemų jiems kyla šeimoje auklėjant vaikus. Tyrimo rezultatai nagrinėti turinio (angl. content) analizės metodu. Duomenų analizė parodė, kad tyrime dalyvavusieji tėvai tapatina du skirtingus lytinio ugdymo ir lytinio švietimo procesus. Jų nuomone, lytinis švietimas pasižymi vartotojiško požiūrio diegimu ir tam įtakos turi kontraceptines piliules siūlantys asmenys ar įmonės, suinteresuoti kontracepcijos vartotojo auginimu. ENThe article reveals the main differences of the two separate processes sexual and sexuality education, as well as the distinctions in the notions of the sexual education and the educators themselves; it also focuses on the qualitative research of the discussion group of the catholic parents raising the teenagers. The aim of the research was to investigate if the parents realize the dangers of the sexual education integrated into the school curriculum, as well as the subsequent problems they might face in the families. The results of the research have been processed by the method of the content analysis. The data analysis showed that the pa-rents participating in the investigation do identify two different processes such as abstinence education and sex education. In their opinion, the present sex education at school is orientated on the promotion of the consumer approach, which is influenced by the companies and individuals offering the contraceptive pills, who are interested in the increasing number of the contraceptives’ consumers.
