LTStraipsnyje analizuojamos muzikos improvizacijos integravimo į muzikos pedagogikos studijas universitete galimybės. Remiantis veiklos tyrimo rezultatais, atskleidžiama muzikos improvizacijos ugdomoji reikšmė. Pagrindinės sąvokos: muzikos mokytojų ugdymas, muzikos improvizacija.

ENThe paper analyzes the students’ experience gained during the action research, the possibilities of music improvisation integration into the music pedagogy studies at university. The activities study has been carried out with the Šiauliai university Art faculty Music pedagogy second year students (N= 18). The object ofthe study - music improvisation application for the future music teachers training at university. Research aim - to reveal the possibilities of using music improvisation method for the future music teachers training at university. Research methods: a theoretical analysis of scientific literature; action research; qualitative and quantitative analysis of results. The data of the survey is treated by the program SPSS for Windows 17. The experimental program was integrated into the curriculum of two subjects. The duration of the study - two semesters. Characteristics of the creative tasks (improvisation, improvised accompaniment) have been evaluated using five-level scale. The respondents have been assessed at the beginning, middle and end ofthe action research.The results of the study have helped to reveal a positive students’ experience related with the application of the music improvisation method. After the use of the improvisation method the students’ cognitive, improvisations skills have changed positively. It has been obtained statistically significant changes in the fields ofthe improvisation, improvised accompaniment of functions. The research has revealed the educational factors of the music improvisation method usage in the pedagogical studies. These aspects are tightly related to the curriculum integrity, motivation promotion and self-expression, basic skills development, promotion of the moral values, development of creativity.
