Summary / Abstract:

ENIn the rapidly changing business environment it is especially difficult for students to find the place in the market. Students are often afraid to take responsibility for their actions, although the country aims to create effectively functioning entrepreneurship promotion system of the youth. In order to promote youth entrepreneurship, it is important to focus on their needs and the factors that most influence on the development of entrepreneurship. The survey carried out on development of students’ entrepreneurial skills showed that the respondents acquire knowledge for a business start during their studies, but it is not sufficient, they lack information about the state subsidies to start a business, the respondents are not involved actively in the activities promoting entrepreneurship only a small part of them participate in workshops and events. The respondents of full-time studies develop entrepreneurial skills most frequently during lectures, while part-time respondents – in institutions and enterprises doing practices of professional activities.
