ENThe article presents the derivatives of the ethnonym Rusas, Maskolius in the Lithuanian language. The author discussed about 80 words (56 nouns, 13 adjectives,11 verbs 7 adverbs) which were found in the following dictionaries; dictionaries of dialects; dictionares of nicknames; and surnames; dictionares of localities; dictionares of phraseology, similes and proverbs. The author draws a conclusion that all meanings of the derivatives Rusas, Maskolius are related to the authority of Russia (Czar) and its politics pursual in Lithuania; they are also related to the military, military service, etc. Furthermore, the author compares derivavites and their meanings from the ethnonyms Latvis and Čigonas revealing Lithuanians' attitude towards these nations. She present ethnolinguistic foresights with the help of tables and diagrams. [From the publication]
