LTStraipsnyje analizuojami besikeičiantys studijuojančiųjų poreikiai, atsirandantys kartu su naujais aukštojo mokslo struktūrų ir kvalifikacijų reikalavimais bei naujų mokymosi technologijų įdiegimu. Jie iškelia naujus uždavinius Europos aukštojo mokslo sistemai - iš naujo apibrėžti universiteto misiją nuolatinio mokymo procese. Kintantis veiklos pasaulio ir žmonių tarpusavio sąveikos pobūdis lemia universitetinio rengimo sistemos pokyčius ir formuoja naujus pedagogų, kuriančių ir realizuojančių mokymosi sąlygas, vaidmenis. Vis aktualesnis suaugusiųjų ugdymas ir andragoginių studijų organizavimas. Todėl bendrajame suaugusiųjų mokymosi kontekste svarbi vieta skirtina būsimųjų pedagogų mokymosi poreikiams. ENIn the development of the European culture and unified space for higher education universities play a special role as they train young people not only for a professional career but also, during their studies solve questions related to general and academic learning. Lithuania has not yet fully perceive the need for cooperation among schools, universities, and businesses in training specialists; universities are taking first steps developing the learning society in Lithuania. Lithuania, a full-fledged member of the European Union, has to address the question how to guarantee high quality education based on qualified pedagogues and proper conditions for than acquiring necessary qualifications. In this analysis of education quality special attention is paid to strengthening the norms for European learning and quality training of pedagogues. The country pedagogues' qualification development is based on the aim to reorganize pedagogues training programmes and development of their qualifications. Pedagogues face new challenges and it becomes obvious that the most appropriate institution for future teacher training is a classical university. Requirements raised by society for the system of higher learning include not only training a student's body for work in the chosen sphere but also development of the need for continuous life-long learning. The study on the needs of continuous learning has shown that a university-level system should satisfy the needs of future pedagogues by creating conditions corresponding their expectations and by guaranteeing continuous learning.A university should form skills and competences that would foster a need for continuous learning. The majority of future pedagogues understand social needs for learning that reflect their training level and ability to adapt to new and ever changing life conditions. Life-long learning is dependent on such social preconditions as increasing competitiveness on the job market, quantitative expansion of knowledge, growing educational requirements for a position, readiness to compete and initiate changes in the working environment. A need for long-distance learning services, various forms of learning at a workplace, and modern schools as learning organizations have become significant. It is very important to make influence on a future pedagogue's personality in the learning process. Insufficience of effective a person's competences developing activities; when teaching and lecturing are still of a very theoretical character students are not trained to link the obtained competences with the new ones.
