LTŠio straipsnio tikslas – apibrėžti kompetencijas, aktualias šiuolaikiniam ugdytojui, atliepiančiam IKT taikymo ugdyme tendencijas. Straipsnyje siekiama nustatyti, kokie globalūs švietimo pokyčiai ir IKT taikymas ugdyme daro įtaką šiuolaikiniam ugdymo procesui; atskleisti ugdytojo kompetencijos sampratos kompleksiškumą; išryškinti esmines šiuolaikiniam ugdytojui svarbias kompetencijas, IKT taikymo ugdymui kontekste. Naudojami mokslinės literatūros ir dokumentų analizės metodai.
ENLithuania is one of the leaders in technological infrastructure development at schools, but there is a lack of competence for teachers to use educational technologies in an effective way. So the paper raises a polemic question – what competences are essential for modern teachers? It has been analysed in many studies in separate aspects, while this paper aims to subtract all the aspects in to one holistic overview. Research aim – to determine essential competences of modern teacher. Goals: to overview the main changes in education that influences the change of teaching; to present theoretical analysis of teacher competence; to stress out the essential competences of the modern teacher. Method – theoretical literature analysis. Findings: teacher‘s professional competence is based on high technological and didactical competence, meanwhile learning and metalearning competences ensure constant professional development.
