Straipsnyje pateikiami 4-5 metų vaikų raidos ypatumai, nurodomi ugdomosios veiklos ikimokyklinio ugdymo įstaigoje aspektai, pateikiamos rekomendacijos, kaip efektyvinti šeimos ir ugdymo įstaigos sąveiką, siekiant ugdomosios veiklos gerinimo. Pateikiami atlikto tyrimo rezultatai, atskleidžiantys šeimų, auginančių 4-5 metų vaikus, dalyvavimo vaikų ugdomojoje veikloje aspektus. ENIdentification of the problem. Parental involvement in children's educational activities positively affects not only children's educational achievements, but also the prospects for the future, social relationships, psychological well-being. Unfortunately, due to accelerating pace of life, the challenges posed by society both career and personal life, parental involvement in children's educational activities is not always sufficient. Often teachers organized activities, newsletters, school records, website is perceived by parents only as a piece information but it does not call for a feedback. Not a less problem that teachers are not aware of how to communicate with parents. It is therefore very important that both teachers and parents and educational institutions would tend to build their relations of cooperation, mutual respect, and mutual understanding. The aim of a research is to reveal the aspects of participation of families raising 4-5 year old children in educational activities. Objectives of a research: to discuss children's (4 - 5 yrs old) development characteristics and competencies; identify the factors that determine the quality of a child's education in a pre-school education institution; to highlight the peculiarities of education in a family; to substantiate the importance of family involvement in children's educational activities. To find out X city nursery - kindergarten families' raising 4-5 year old children approach towards the aspects of cooperation in educational process.The object - families' raising 4-5 year old children participation in educational activities. The vast majority of pre-school education programs emphasize the family and the educational cooperation as a child's successful education (learning) prerequisite. Expected results are inseparable communication / collaboration components, and their clarity allows continuation of education and facilitates communication fluency between the educator and a child's family. Pre-school teachers and family cooperation process is facing various types of difficulty: the intensity of cooperation, teachers 'point of view, limits not only the parents' employment, lack of time, but also passive participation, and a reluctance to engage in pre-school activities; the parents would like to see teacher's encouragement and advice rather than the charge, a wider range of education and ways of cooperation. In order to support a more successful cooperation both participants of educational process should form an appropriate setting for it, to share experiences, to maintain a constant and clear two-way communication based on mutual respect and trust, to combine cultural values and ways of cooperation, to ensure a wider range of diversity.
