Summary / Abstract:

ENThe article presents the world of children as a social construct of children’s subculture worthy of teachers’ attention, which is closely linked to adult culture. Teachers should view the world of children as something created by them and meaningful to them, an aggregate of the conditions and circumstances that are acceptable to children and can strengthen their participation, as subjects, in the training processes. The values of children’s subculture are revealed, as are its processes of personification, tolerance and solidarity. It is explained that the values of the children’s world are not just specific, but universal. They are significant to adult subculture, to teachers’ neo-pedocentristic (child-centred) reflection and to the restructuring of current thinking. [From the publication]
