Summary / Abstract:

LTStraipsnyje plėtojamas ir eksperimento būdu tiriamas apskritimų motyvo atlikimo ant kaulinių dirbinių akmens amžiuje klausimas. Taisyklingais apskritimais ornamentuotų dirbinių rytų Baltijos regiono akmens amžiaus medžiagoje aptinkama ypač retai. Vieno iš tokių radinių - neolitinio žeberklo iš Šventosios gyvenvietės - atveju galima manyti, kad šis dirbinys nebuvo pagamintas vietoje: taisyklingų apskritimų ornamentas geriau pažįstamas iš vėlesnių laikotarpių archeologinės medžiagos, kai kaului dekoruoti jau buvo pasitelkiami metaliniai įrankiai. Visgi tam tikros analogijos iš tolimų kraštų leidžia kelti prielaidų, kad apskritimų ornamentui išraižyti akmens amžiaus laikotarpiu buvo naudojami specifinės formos titnaginiai dirbiniai. Atliktas eksperimentas, kurio metu stengiantis laikytis akmens amžiaus technologijos buvo gaminamos neolitinio žeberklo kopijos, jos ornamentuotos naudojant skirtingus titnaginius ir metalinius įrankius. Abiem technikomis išraižytų apskritimų palyginimas su originalu leidžia pažinti skirtingų darbo įrankių paliekamas žymes bei išsiaiškinti, kokiu būdu galėjo būti ornamentuotas neolitinis žeberklas iš Šventosios. ENThe article questions and researches through the experiment on the ornamentation with circular motifs on bone articles in the Stone age. The artifacts decorated in regular circles in the Stone-age material of the Eastern Baltic region are found extremely rarely. It can be assumed that One of these finds - the Neolithic harpoon from Šventoji settlement - was not made locally. In addition, the ornament of regular circles is better known from later periods of archeological material, when metal tools were already used to decorate the bone. However, certain analogies from distant lands make it possible to assume that to engrave a circular ornament in the Stone Age - special flint artifacts of specific forms were used, the experiment was carried out in which copies of the Neolithic harpoons were produced while trying to observe the Stone Age technologies and they were ornamentated by using different, flint and metal tools, the comparison of the circles carved by both techniques with the original allows to get to know the traces of the different tools and to find out how the Neolithic harpoon from Šventoji could have been ornamented.
