The purpose of the research is to analyse the volunteering motives and benefits of Lithuanian students studying at higher education institutions. The research has revealed that students understand the importance of volunteering and take part in long-term voluntary activities. They are encouraged to volunteer by their professional and personal self-realization and the willingness to help others.
