Summary / Abstract:

LTStraipsnyje tiriami geriausio XVIII a. šiaurės žemaičių kretingiškių patarmės rašytinio šaltinio – 1759 m. Ziwato – įvardžiuotiniai būdvardžiai. Darbe siekiama išanalizuoti ir pateikti sinchroninį 1759 m. Ziwato teksto įvardžiuotinių būdvardžių linksniavimą ir jų raidą. Tyrimo duomenys lyginami su šiaurės žemaičių kretingiškių patarmės duomenimis. Vidinės rekonstrukcijos ir lyginamasis metodai leido rekonstruoti XVIII a. šiaurės žemaičių kretingiškių patarmės įvardžiuotinių būdvardžių linksniavimo paradigmą, išryškinti tiriamų formų morfologines ypatybes, kitimo tendencijas. ENThe 1759 Ziwatas was considered the best monument of the 18th century of the North Samogitian sub-dialect of Kretinga. The objective of the article is to analyze the declension paradygm of pronominal adjectives of the sub-dialect of 1759 Ziwatas, to compare it with the data of the sub-dialect North Samogitian of Kretinga. Modern sub-dialect studies show that in the North Samogitian sub-dialect of Kretinga, the forms of pronominal adjectives are relatively frequent, but in the analyzed text of 1759 Ziwatas, these forms are rarely used. Most abundantly there occur the pronominal forms of the adjectives of o stem. The research is based on internal reconstruction and comparative methods. The pronominal adjectives of the North Samogitian sub-dialect of Kretinga, and of 1759 Ziwatas are analyzed. The comparative analysis revealed that in the sub-dialect of Kretinga, the names of [] and [] stems in the form of genitive, singular, have -i instead of the anticipated inflection -ẹ. In all probability, according to these forms, the genitive ending -uoji~ -ojo (bâltũoji ~ báltojo) of the pronominal forms, singular, was also generalised, which clearly shows the ancient ending of the adjective, *-ā. In other positions of the comparative sub-dialect, the forms with the ending -ẹ are possesed. Thus, in Ziwatas, the spoken inflection -ẹ would show that the basis of Ziwatas is the sub-dialect of Kartena. The dative form singular [] of the sub-dialect of Kretinga is also informative. The ending -ọu(jọu) ~ -uo(juo) is an old ending of nouns, indicating that the ending of the dative, singular, of the simple adjectives is newer, borrowed from the demonstratives. The spoken form allows understanding that pronominal adjectives in the sub-dialects of North Samogitian formed still then, when the adjective still had the substantival inflection. [...].
