LTStraipsnyje aktualizuojamas kokybės vadybos sistemos projektavimo ir diegimo principas „Visų lygių darbuotojų įtraukimas“, analizuojama aukštosios mokyklos darbuotojų nuomonė apie kokybės tobulinimo procesus organizacinės komunikacijos aspektu. Aptarus bendrąsias darbuotojų įtraukimo teorines įžvalgas, analizuojama vidinės komunikacijos reikšmė kokybės tobulinimo procesui, teiginius paremiant žvalgomojo tyrimo, atlikto Šiaulių kolegijoje, duomenimis. Traktuojant darbuotojų įtraukimą, kaip kokybės vadybos sistemos esminį principą, atskleidžiama vidinės komunikacijos reikšmė kokybės vadybos sistemos diegimo ir tobulinimo procesui. Kokybės vadybos sistemos įprasminimas organizacinės komunikacijos procese analizuojamas keliais aspektais: pokyčių komunikacijos, komunikacijos sąlygomis, darbuotojų tapatybės. ENThe article analyzes the assumptions regarding the involvement of academic staff of higher education institutions in the processes of quality improvement in terms of organizational communication. The initial review of the general theoretical insights related to the involvement of academic staff is followed by the analysis of the importance of internal communication in the process of quality improvement. The statements of the analysis are based on the data obtained during the pilot research which was conducted at Šiauliai College. Several aspects of the implementation of quality management system in the process of organizational communication are analyzed: communication of change, conditions of communication and identity of staff. The role of communication in terms of quality improvement is emphasized by the following functions: constant improvement of processes, involvement and professional improvement of staff in order to encourage the open mutual informational relation, the visions and missions of an organization as well as the publicity of the quality management system, identification of the areas within the organization which are subjects to quality improvement, and implementation of a recognized quality management system. Internal communication secures the role of employees in the quality management system of an organization.The academic staff of Šiauliai College expressed positive opinion about the possibilities of learning and improvement through communication, communication of change and creation of conditions for open communication. Not only they are aware of the vision and mission of the College, but also realize, accept and implement them in their academic work. Internal communication facilitates the formation of positive attitude of the academic staff towards the College and creates the conditions under which the employees feel that they are a part of the College. When projecting the improvement of internal communication, it is important to pay attention to the integration of the constant reflection of the quality concept, keeping in mind the expansion of the quality concept and involving into the process the entire community of Šiauliai College.
