Dagerotipai, ambrotipai, ferotipai Lietuvos muziejuose

LTLietuvos nacionalinis muziejus pradeda fotografijos retrospektyvos publikavimui skirtą seriją Lietuvos fotografijos istorija. Pirmasis leidinys - ankstyvosios fotografijos: dagerotipų, ambrotipų, ferotipų, saugomų Lietuvos muziejuose, katalogas. Rengiama spaudai antroji knyga chronologiškai pratęs pirmąją ir bus skirta X IX a. vid. - 1915 m. Vilniaus fotografams. Darbai fotografijos istorijos srityje yra viena prioritetinių muziejaus veiklos krypčių - sukaupta didžiausia Lietuvoje senosios fotografijos kolekcija, suformuotas fotonegatyvų ir pozityvų (nuo XIX a. vid. iki šių dienų) rinkinys, leidžiami ikonografinio pobūdžio katalogai, rengiamos fotografijų parodos.

ENThe National Museum of Lithuania is launching a series, The History of Lithuanian Photography, dedicated to the publication of photographic sources. The first publication is a catalogue of early photographs: daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, and tintypes held by Lithuanian museums. The second book, now under preparation, will be a chronological continuation of the first and will be devoted to the photographers of Vilnius from the middle of the 19t h century to 1915. Works in the area of photographic history rank high on the Museum's agenda of priorities: the largest collection of early photographs in Lithuania has been accumulated, a collection of negatives and prints (from the middle of the 19t h century up to the present) has been assembled, catalogues of an iconographic nature are being published, and photography shows are being held.
