"Amatininko" žurnalas: ką galime sužinoti apie tarpukario Lietuvos amatininkystę?

LT2018-tieji metai Lietuvos valstybei yra neeiliniai - šiais metais švenčiame Lietuvos valstybės atkūrimo šimtmetį, dažnai prisimenamos mūsų tradicijos, papročiai, taip pat tarpukario Lietuvos valstybė, sąsajos tarp to meto ir nūdienos, diskutuojama apie valstybės praeitį, dabartį ir ateitį įvairiomis kryptimis ir įvairiose srityse. Ne išimtis turėtų būti ir Lietuvos amatai, amatininkai bei amatininkystė. Mat ši sfera, plačiai apimanti visuomenės, ūkio, darbo, verslo, pramonės, švietimo, kultūros, paveldo, istorijos sritis, visada buvo, yra ir išliks aktuali. Tarpukario metais (1934-1940) leistas "Amatininko" žurnalas yra išsamus informacinis šaltinis pažinti to meto amatininkystės padėtį, problemas, iššūkius, nusivylimus, sėkmes ir lūkesčius, teikiantis galimybę palyginti tuometinę ir šiandieninę šalies amatininkystę, o valstybės atkūrimo šimtmečio proga leidžiantis per šią prizmę susieti dvi Lietuvas - andainykštę ir dabartinę. ENIn the Interwar period (1934-1940) the journal "Amatininkas" (Craftsman) was an important and influential source of information to find out more about craftsmanship, its problems, challenges, failures, success and expectations, to compare craftsmanship of two time periods: contemporary and the past and on the occasion of the 100th Anniversary of the Restoration of the State to see the linkage between present - day Lithuania and the country's past. The years of "Amatininkas" existence were significant, since the journal was published in the years of the country's maturity when it was celebrating the 20th anniversary of the restoration of independence and was proud of everything the country has achieved. Furthermore, this period of time is closely linked to the global social and economic changes of the second half of the 19th century and the first decades of the 20th century and reflects their consequences. The latter events shaped the journal’s background and proved its importance. Recently, a similar journal on the situation of craftsmanship in Lithuania is not published any more.
