Summary / Abstract:

ENIn recent years a number of strategic documents (Lisbon Convention (1997), European Strategy for Employment (1997); Bologna Declaration (1999), also A Memorandum on Lifelong Learning (2001), and Copenhagen Declaration (2002)) were adopted, in which as emphasis on necessity to establish systems for validating and recognition of non-formal and informal learning the states of the European Union is evident. The aim of this article is to analyse the changes occurring in the European countries in the areas of validation and recognition of non-formal and informal learning.
