Aldona Liobytė - modernių vaikų knygų iliustracijų užsakovė ir leidėja
LTStraipsnyje tiriama vaikų literatūros srityje dirbusios rašytojos ir vertėjos Aldonos Liobytės (1915-1985) sociokultūrinė aplinka ir jos nuopelnai vaikų knygai. Siekiama apžvelgti jos autorines ir inicijuotas knygas meno aspektu. Tiriamas jos indėlis pritraukiant kuo daugiau jaunų dailininkų į vaikų knygų sritį, apžvelgiamos jų iliustruotos knygos ir kūrybiniai pasiekimai. Liobytė, būdama drąsi ir inovatyvi, leido vaikų literatūroje atsirasti įvairaus meninio braižo vaizdų kalbai, siekė estetinės įvairovės, gynė dailininkus dėl jų meninio stiliaus ir padėjo pagrindus moderniai vaikų iliustracijai. ENIn this paper, the author examines the milieu of Aldona Liobytė (191s-1985), a writer, translator, and erudite of her living period, and at her merits to the books for children and attempts a broader look at the books she had authored, initiated, and translated, that is, the children’s books published by the Publishers of Literary Fiction of Lithuania that reveal Liobytė’s contribution to children’s literature. Liobytė’s key merit is the realisation of the significance of the text-image relation that is so important in early education. She did all she could to attract young artists to children’s books, whose creativity and education enriched children’s books with m any artistic novelties. Liobytė was bold and innovative: she encouraged the emergence of the language of images of different styles in children’s literature, fought for its variety, and defended the artists and their artistic styles that had fallen out of favour with the censors of the period. Although the quality of printing was rather poor at the time and the writers and artists working for children were paid considerably less, with her enthusiasm, energy, and her optimistic attitude towards life Liobytė attracted many talented and creative personalities that laid the foundation of the modern Lithuanian book illustration and drew attention to the importance of visual language in children’s literature.
