ENThe Lithuanian composer Onute Narbutaite is a very special creator who takes on a lot of contexts from the European past and her personal life to formulate the concept of her work as an artist. This could be named Vienna Secession network on opera stages with different ideas and intermedial aspects. There are a lot of projections, their figurative meanings lead towards different points of view but in the end the improvised appocalypse jointly created by Rilke and Narbutaite and encompassing personal and social aspects develops into the collision between art and war. This is a very complicated multicreative concept overhelmed with passion, cultural games, and distant frontline images. The pictures and intermedial aspects make up the network in the “Cornet“. Narbutaite’s opera created after Rilke’s poetry is the improvised, unfinished field of magnificient European fragility. [From the publication]
