ENLithuania, Estonia and Finland are members of the European Union, which indicates that education systems in these countries could be very similar because of the main directives of the European Commission, the recommendations of the Committee on Culture and Education (European Parliament), common projects, etc. and despite a lot of differences between these countries of the Baltic region. Formal and non-formal music education has old traditions in each of the countries, therefore the experience of each country is very valuable and important for the new findings in the optimization of music education programs and processes. The analysis of scientific literature and documents was used in an attempt to reveal the peculiarities of Lithuanian, Estonian and Finnish music education systems. The paper presents the research carried out among future music teachers in Lithuania, Estonia and Finland. [From the publication]
