Summary / Abstract:

ENUniversities are concerned with providing high quality programs to better fit students' requirements and labour market. Teaching Political Sciences/International Relations is not easy, as the field is somewhat unattractive compared to other tertiary level disciplines. We thought that transdisciplinary and embedded learning will lead to better academic results. We applied this approach in two-weeks Erasmus Intensive Programme, implemented in 2009-2012 on a group of 72 students from: Austria, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania. Transdisciplinarity and embedded learning were used to contextualize if and how they affect the academic achievements. This paper presents the results emphasising positive effects on students' performances.
