ENThe material environment is a part of a social system. It is the place which really influences a person. Time and cultural structure also influence the aesthetic evaluation. But the theory of aesthetics also acknowledges the values of beauty and kindness. The world gives the possibility to individual things to exist, but at the same time it itself exists only owing to these things. My place has an aesthetic value only because I am related to it by existing and through this link of existence I am connected emotionally too. The educational process takes place in a certain material environment, which influences us and our psychological state and occupies a big part of our existence. The unity of a form, destination and function and their treatment play an important role in the understanding and creating of the material environment. In modem life the design decisions influence the development of economics and trade, increase people’s cultural growth, and, of course, create the environmental reality and the reality of things and goods. Teaching the foundations of understanding and creating the material environment to the students will help them to be better at finding their way in our complicated social world. Teaching design may be formal and has a wide expression sphere in formal and informal activities.
