LTŠiame straipsnyje pateikiami tyrimo, kuriuo siekta atskleisti studentų nuomonę apie nuolatines studijas aukštojoje neuniversitetinėje mokykloje, rezultatai. Tyrimo tema aktuali, kadangi, siekiant studijų kokybės, atliepiant darbo rinkos poreikius, šalia kitų analizės požiūriu svarbių aspektų, ypač svarbūs studentų vertinimai, susiję su studijų procesu. ENAiming at the study quality, especially it is important to investigate the student‘s satisfaction with the study process as well as their expectations. A qualitative research, surveying the first-year and the third-year students of the Business and Technology Faculty and the Faculty of Medicine of Utena University of Applied Sciences, has been performed given the above aim. During the research, it has been ascertained that the main respondent‘s motive choosing the studies at a higher education institution is the aspirations to make their dream to come true. It has been identified that one third of the respondents have doubts concerning the choice of the study programme and that the majority of the students recons that the chosen study programme requirements are rather high. Besides, more girls than guys have specified that they receive more friend‘s support and it has been determined that the girls lack opportunities to implement their ideas more than the guys. It has been revealed that a bit more students of the Faculty of Business and Technologies that the students of the Faculty of Medicine assess laboratories, computer classes as the study environment positively; while the students of the Faculty of Medicine rate the general auditorium, massage rooms positively. It has been noticed that in the future some qualitative research with regards to the same research issues would allow a deeper glimpse into the following: the study choice motives, analyzed in the article, the requirements raised, the study environment, or the relationship with the lecturers.
