1863-1864 m. sukilimas lietuvių atminimo kultūroje: naujos ir senos interpretacijos

LT2017 m. Vilniuje atradus 1863-1864 m. sukilimo vadų palaikus, tiek akademinės bendruomenės, tiek politikų ir visuomenės domėjimasis šiuo istoriniu įvykiu smarkiai išaugo. Šiame straipsnyje aptariamos per beveik du pastaruosius dešimtmečius paskelbtos istorinės publikacijos, skirtos ne pačiam sukilimui, bet jo vietai lietuvių atminimo kultūroje. Šiek tiek supaprastinus, laikotarpį po sukilimo galima suskirstyti į keturias epochas: „tautinio atgimimo“, Nepriklausomos tautinės valstybės, sovietinę bei dabartinę. Jos čia ir bus aptariamos.

ENThis article reviews scholarly publications from the past two decades on the functioning of the 18631864 Uprising in Lithuanian memory culture, as well as the place of this historical event in current identity politics. The article is divided into four parts based on historical periods the “National Revival”, the Republic of Independent Lithuania, the Soviet era, and the present day. This is a polemical text that not only presents the most important new insights from researchers but also engages in discussion with some of these new interpretations.
