LTŠiame straipsnyje atskleidžiami kai kurie pagrindinio ugdymo matematikos bendrosios programos trūkumai, apimantys matematinių sąvokų įvedimą ir vartojimą. Pasitelkiant atvejo analizės metodą, nagrinėjami su procento sąvokos įvedimu susiję netikslumai matematinėje literatūroje, vadovėliuose ir kitose mokymo priemonėse. Pateikiamas naujas procento sąvokos apibrėžimas ir parodoma jo įvedimo į bendrojo lavinimo mokyklos kursą seka.
ENThis article points out some of the disadvantages of the lower secondary school curriculum of mathematics that are related to introduction and usage of mathematical concepts. Inaccuracies of the introduction of the concept of percentage are analysed in mathematical literature, textbooks and other educational tools by employing the method of case study. A new definition of the concept of percentage and the sequence of its introduction into the secondary school curriculum are presented.
