Fotografija kaip kūrybos problema vėlyvojo sovietmečio Lietuvoje

LTStraipsnyje analizuojamas 9-uoju dešimtmečiu vykęs lūžinis fotografijos kaip kūrybos priemonės kritinio pervertinimo momentas. Įvertinami socialiniai ir ekonominiai veiksniai, daugiausia susiję su Draugijos (LFMD) veikla, turėję įtakos naujai besiformuojančiam fotografų santykiui su jų kūrybos priemone. Taip pat gilinamasi į tuometes fotografų savišvietos galimybes. Aiškinamasi, kokias formas įgijo menininkų kūrybiniai samprotavimai apie fotografiją šiuo laikotarpiu, kaip atsispindi polemika su modernios fotografijos tradicija. Remiantis kūrinių analize, tyrime aptariami fotografų kelti probleminiai autorystės, referentiškumo tikrovės atžvilgiu ir fotografijos indeksiškumo klausimai.

ENThe study analyzes the turn in reconsidering the medium of photography that took place in the 1980s. It is aimed at identifying the social and economic factors that influenced the development of a new attitude to the medium while exploring the activities of the Association of Lithuanian Art Photographers. The means and ways of self-education used by the photographers are discussed. The other focus of the study is on the artists’ reflections on photography, on the critical questions they posed to the tradition of modernist photography. Through the analyses of images, the following problems are highlighted: authorship, reference of photography to reality and indexicality.
