ENThe article constitutes a comparative examination of Judaism as one of the most important phenomena of the Abramite religious tradition uniting the main religions of the Middle East. The mystic teachings of Judaism and other major religions deriving from it (in particular Islam) are analyzed from a comparative perspective. The analysis helps to show that Judea and Muslims, although being in opposition for various political reasons, in essence have many common religious, ethical and world-view components originating from the same cultural and historical background.
