Turlojiškės archeologinis kompleksas
LT2003 m. archeologiniai tyrimai vykdyti rugpjūčio ir rugsėjo mėnesiais. Tyrimų tikslas buvo nustatyti paminkliškumą ir patikslinti vienos iš senovės gyvenviečių teritoriją. Tyrimams pasirinkta didelė, žole apaugusi, apie 300 m skersmens kalva, esanti Turlojiškės archeologinio komplekso P dalyje. Ji yra dešiniajame Kirsnos upės krante, į R nuo upės. Jos viršūnė beveik plokščia. Šiuo metu kalva naudojama gyvuliams ganyti. 2003 m.joje ištirtos 5 perkasos 2-6 bei baigta 2002 m. pradėta tirti perkasa 1. Tyrimai atlikti kalvos P dalyje ir šlaite. Perkasos buvo atmatuotos į P ir Š nuo elektros linijos [p. 19].
ENIn 2003 in the Turlojiškė archaeological complex VU continued the explorations started in 1996. In the southern part of the archaeological complex under investigation since 2002, totally 5 trenches were excavated, along with completion of investigations in trench 1 started in 2002 (total area of 162.75 m²). Flint finds, raw amber, animal bones, pottery and clay plaster was founp in result of explorations. In trench 5 a fragment of human skull was unearthed. Furthermore, some pits without any finds and remains of an oval structure were uncovered. The ancient settlement unearthed in the place under investigation is dated back to the 2nd millennium B.C.
