Mosėdžio Šv. Arkangelo Mykolo bažnyčios šventoriaus Kryžiaus kelio savastis Žemaičių vyskupystėje (XIX a.-XX a. pr.)

LTStraipsnyje aptariamos Mosėdžio Šv. arkangelo Mykolo bažnyčios šventoriaus Kryžiaus kelio genezė Žemaičių vyskupystėje. Šis Kryžiaus kelias yra vienas iš Šiaurės Vakarų Žemaitijos vyskupijos gyventojų XIX-XX amžiaus pradžios religingumo išraiškų. Tyrimo rezultatai atskleidžia išsikeltą hipotezę, kad Mosėdžio Šv. Arkangelo Mykolo bažnyčios šventoriaus 19-os stočių, arba 20-ics vietų, Kryžiaus kelias bei jo pamaldumas, labai artimas Žemaičių Kalvarijos Kryžiaus keliui, turi ir savitumų.

ENArticle is based on the research relating to the Way of the Cross in the churchyard of St Michael the Archangel's Church in Mosėdis. The paper explores the historical sources of the stations of the Cross in this particular location, analysing how specific forms of devotion interact with the prototype. The article aims at revealing the distinctive features of this Way of the Cross and decribing its type. The work pursued the following objectives: firstly, drawing on the historical materials, to uncover the sources of origin and motifs of the Way of the Cross in the churchyard of St Michael the Archangel's Church in Mosėdis; secondly, within the context of the collected material, to show the peculiarities of this Way of the Cross. The results of the research allow us to conclude that the 19 stations or 20 locations of the Way of the Cross in the churchyard of St Michael the Archangel's Church in Mosėdis and local traditions of devotion are in many ways similar to the Samogitian Calvary (Žemaičių Kalvarija) Way of the Cross, however, they have unique features as well.
