Valdžia ir erdvė: Lietuvos Didžiosios Kunigaikštystės teritorializacijos procesas XIV-XVI a. : disertacija

LTDisertacijoje tiriama XIV–XVI a. Lietuvos Didžiosios Kunigaikštystės teritorijos sienų su kaimyninėmis šalimis samprata, delimitacinių procesų raida ir intensyvumas. Apibrėžiama XIV–XV a. šaltinių „sienos“ ir „ženklo“ sąvokų terminija, aptariamas sienų ženklinimas. LDK valstybinių sienų sampratos aiškinimas papildomas XV–XVI a. privačios žemėvaldos ribų žymėjimo duomenimis. Analizuojama XIV–XVI a. LDK ir Vokiečių ordino sienų raida, rekonstruojama jų nustatymo procedūra. Tiriamos XIV–XVI a. LDK sienos su rusėniškomis kunigaikštystėmis ir Maskvos valstybe. Aptartas rusėniškų kunigaikštysčių (žemių) diduomenės siekis išsaugoti „senąją“ teritorinę struktūrą LDK sudėtyje. Telkiamas dėmesys į pietrytinių LDK sienų „prie Juodosios jūros“ XIV–XVI a. problemą, apžvelgiama istorinės geografijos specifika, „senosios“ teritorinės struktūros ir „naujųjų“ politinių LDK sienų su Osmanų imperija delimitavimas. Nagrinėjama XIV–XVI a. LDK sienų su Mazovija ir Lenkija samprata. Aptariami šalių delimitaciniai procesai 1569 m. derybų dėl Liublino unijos kontekste. ENThe research is based on the investigation of the territorialisation process of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (GDL further) in the 14th-16th centuries. For sake the completeness of the research, thecontent of concepts concerning territorial units formed from the 13th to the 16th century in the GDL and the concepts of sovereign's domain, relationship between the political centre and the territory are clarified. The concepts of the GDL's 14th-16th century west political boundaries, the state frontier and the mark in different languages sources; natural and human border marks are analyzed and explained. The research of boundaries in private landownership and their delimitation in the 15th-16th centuries draw main conclusions, which give some information concerning the genesis of the GDL's state frontier concept. The development of the frontier between the GDL and the Teutonic Order in the 14th-16th centuries is analyzed ant the reconstruction of delimitation procedure - a case of the frontier between the GDL and the Teutonic Order - is given. Thesis examines the northeast frontier of the GDL with the Ruthenian principalities and Muscovy from in the 14th-16th centuries, what deals with the concept of principalities incorporation organized by Lithuanians and ambition of local nobility to preserve the "old" structure of territorial organization. The research concentrates and on the problem of the southeast frontier of the GDL "by the Black Sea" in the 14th-16th centuries: it gives a review of historical and geographical particularities of these territories, the concept of the "old" territorial structure and the "new" political frontiers between the GDL and the Ottoman Empire and their delimitation.
