Būgnas Lietuvoje

LTTikslai: panagrinėti būgnų gyvavimo tradicijas Lietuvoje ir atskleisti jų svarbą Lietuvos kultūroje. Tyrimo metodas – istorinis ir lyginamasis tipologinis. Išvados: kalbiniai, istoriniai ir etnografiniai duomenys rodo svarbią būgno vietą lietuvių kalendorinių bei šeimos švenčių apeigose bei išryškina kultūrinių mainų svarbą praeityje. Tipologiniai lyginimai su Sibiro ir Šiaurės tautų šamanų būgnais atskleidžia lietuvių tautosakoje slypinčius senosios pasaulėžiūros reliktus. ENThe role of the drum in the Lithuanian musical culture is no less significant than that in the neighbouring countries. However, it has been reflected neither in the local investigations of ethnomusicologists (recent unique expedition materials from Rokiškis and Zarasai districts show the importance to continue these investigations) nor in the abundance of archeological findings. The article tries to fill in the gaps using the comparative-typological method - employing different materials (iconographic, archeological, ethnographic, mythological, etc.) of other nations. Linguistic, historical and ethnographic data about drums once again point out the significance of the cultural exchange in the past. Having discussed the appearance of the drum in the Lithuanian folklore, the prominent place of the instrument in the rites of the main Lithuanian festivals during the year as well as family celebrations becomes obvious. Typological comparison with the drums of shamans from Siberia and Northern nations points out the relic of the old outlook retained in the Lithuanian folklore. [From the publication]
