Lietuvio namai: statybos papročiai ir mitologemos

LTStraipsnyje trumpai apžvelgus lietuvio būsto istorinę raidą, iš tradicinių papročių bei liaudiškų tikėjimų rekonstruojamos atskirų namo elementų mitologemos. Tautosaka iškalbingai byloja apie didelį lietuvių prieraišumą gimtiesiems namams. Tai sėslaus etnoso, per tūkstantmečius labai susigyvenusio su tėviške, požymis. Mitiškai mąstant namo statyba būdavo įsivaizduojama kaip kosmogoninis aktas - juk kuriamas savasis pasaulis, kuriame neretai prabėgdavo ir visas gyvenimas. Statytojas čia tarsi imasi dievų veikos. Iš to seka atskirų namo vidaus elementų bei svarbiausių baldų mitologizavimas: tam tikrais gyvenimo momentais ar kalendorinių švenčių metu jie itin sureikšminami, tampa šventais. Gerosios kerčios, krosnies, slenksčio, stalo, suolo, kraičio skrynios mitologemos laikytinos istorinės atminties reliktais, kaip senosios baltų religijos namų dvasių ir mitinių būtybių manifestacijų vietos. Mitologinių įvaizdžių realumas senovėje padėdavo spręsti visas šeimoje kylančias dorovines ir moralines problemas. Verta ir šiandien įsijausti į šių dalykų prasmes, nes jose slypi svarbūs sociopsichologiniai akcentai, sudarantys harmoningo ir laimingo gyvenimo prielaidas. ENThe article briefly overviews the historical development of a Lithuanian dwelling and, on the basis of traditional customs and folk beliefs, reconstructs mythologems of the separate elements of a house. The folklore tells us about a great affection of Lithuanian people for their homes. This signifies a sedentary ethnos that has become very close to their homeland over thousands of years. While thinking mythically, the process of building a house was viewed as a cosmogonic act - the creation of your own world where one would spend their lifetime. The builder seemingly engages in divine activity. Hence, we can speak of mythologization of separate elements of the house interior and the most important pieces of furniture: they would become really significant, even sacred, at some moments in life or on calendar holidays. The mythologems of the good corner, furnace, threshold, table, bench, dowry chest are considered to be the relics of historical memory as the manifestation places of the house-spirits and mythical creatures of the old Baltic religion. In the past, the realism of mythological images helped to solve all moral problems in the family. Even today it is worthwhile to consider the significance of these issues as they contain important socio-psychological accents that precondition a harmonious, happy life. [From the publication]
