LTŠiame straipsnyje analizuojamos Kleino gramatikose (1653, 1654) pateiktos hebrajų kalbos veiksmažodžio paralelės. Gramatikos autorius jas nurodo norėdamas skaitytojui geriau paaiškinti lietuvių kalbos priežastinių (taip pat ir parūpinamųjų) bei sangrąžinių veiksmažodžių semantiką. Pirmuosius jis lygina su hebrajų hif’il klase, o antruosius – su hitpa’el. Toks lyginimas gramatikoje atlieka dvejopą funkciją: taip ne tik atskleidžiama šių veiksmažodžių semantika, bet ir keliama lietuvių kalbos vertė, parodant, kad joje esama panašių elementų kaip ir vienoje iš Biblijos kalbų. ENThis article discusses the parallels between Lithuanian verbs and Hebrew verbs mentioned by Danielius Kleinas in his grammars of 1653 and 1654. The author of the grammars points them out to help explain to the reader the semantics of Lithuanian factitive and procurative verbs as well as reflexives. He compares the former to the Hebrew hif’il class and the latter to the hitpa’el class. Pointing out this parallels serves a dual purpose: this way he not only illustrates the semantics of the verbs, but he also feels that he is raising the prestige of the Lithuanian language by pointing out elements of it that are similar to those of one of the languages of the Bible.
