Summary / Abstract:

LTStraipsnyje nagrinėjamos Vilniaus katedros požemių kriptoje esančios freskos „Nukryžiuotasis su Švč. Mergele Marija ir Šv. Jonu Evangelistu“ restauravimo ypatybės. Autorius pažymi, kad šio kūrinio konservavimas Lietuvos restauravimo istorijoje buvo išskirtinis dėl kūrinio unikalumo, sudėtingų darbo sąlygų, netradicinės konservavimo metodikos bei kūrinio eksponavimo būdo pasirinkimo. Straipsnyje aptariama kūrinio atsiradimo istorija ir jo meninės bei techninės ypatybės. Aptariama kūrinio būklė prieš perduodant ją restauratoriams. Pažymima, kad prieš konservuojant buvo atlikta detali kūrinio fotofiksacija, sudaryta tapybos būklės kartograma, joje pažymėti pažeidimai ir netektys, paviršiaus apnašų ir teršalų lokalizacija. Pateikiami detalūs ekspertizės rezultatai, aptariami kriptos sienų būklės tyrimai ir drėgmės ir pelėsio prevencijos priemonės, kurių buvo imtąsi. Aprašomi ginčai dėl kūrinio eksponavimo vietos, pateikiami argumentai, kuriais remiantis buvo nuspręsta freską palikti pradinėje jos vietoje. Pažymima, kad nemažą reikšmę tokiam sprendimui turėjo kūrinio autentiškos vietos bei jo istorinės aplinkos argumentas. Straipsnyje aprašomas freskos avarinės būklės dėl drėgmės pertekliaus konstatavimas 1999 metais ir 2000 metais straipsnio autoriaus atlikti šios būklės likvidavimo darbai. Autorius konstatuoja, kad temperatūros ir drėgnio matuoklių kriptoje nėra, todėl neįmanoma nustatyti, koks mikroklimatas yra susidaręs skirtingose rūsio vietose ir kokią reikšmę toks mikroklimatas turės freskos būklei ateityje.Reikšminiai žodžiai: Dailė; Dailė, sakralinė; Freska; Freskos; Ikonografija; Katedros; Kriptos; Nukryžiavimas; Nukryžiuotojo su Švč. ENThe article analyses peculiarities of restoration of the fresco “Crucifixion with the Virgin Mary and St. John” in the underground chapel of Vilnius Cathedral. The author notes that the conservation of this fresco in the history of restoration in Lithuania was a significant event due to its unique nature, hard working conditions, untraditional method of conservation and selection of the exposition method. The article discusses the origin of the fresco and its artistic as well as technical peculiarities. It is noted that before the conservation works took place, a detailed photo fixation of the fresco was performed, a cartogram of the painting condition indicating damages and losses was made and localisation of tarnish and polluted spots. Detailed results of the expertise are submitted, studies of the condition of the walls of the chapel as well as measures taken to prevent humidity and mould are discussed. The article describes disputes on the exposition place of the fresco, presents arguments, on the basis of which it was decided to leave the object in its original place. The author of the article notes that the argument of the original place of the fresco and its historical environment had a considerable impact on the decision regarding its place of exhibition. The article describes the fact critical condition due to humidity surplus in 1999 and the works by the author of the article performed in 2000 in order to liquidate the critical condition. The author states that there are no humidity and temperature measurement devices in the chapel, therefore, it is impossible to establish the microclimate in different places of the basement and significance the microclimate will have on the fresco in the future.
