Summary / Abstract:

ENThis article has ternary purpose. First of all the article seeks to check the model of three obligation components to organization (emotional, succession and normative components) in Lithuanian population. Secondly, the purpose is to analyze relations between individual factors (age, gender, individual features) and obligation to organization. Finally, the article seeks to verify the hypothesis about the connection between obligation to organization and an intention to leave the organization in the sample of Lithuania. 105 workers of various Lithuanian organizations were surveyed during the study. The results of the study revealed that in relation with other studies, the model of three component obligations to organization is more comprehensive than a model of one component. Some differences show that is maybe necessary to improve the means. The authors did not find a relation between the features of an individual and obligation to organization. It contradicts the study of other authors and it should be researched more thoroughly in the future. The results confirm the remark that men and women have the same level organizational, succession and normative obligation. Even though there is no determined response, it was defined that men have higher emotional attachment to organization than women. These contradictory results can be related to cultural differences. Equally, a positive age and general obligation to organization and succession correlation was defined. General obligation to organization is related to education level.
