Summary / Abstract:

Remiantis empirinio tyrimo rezultatais, galima teigti, jog mokytojai IKT kompetencijas įsivertino labai skirtingai: a) IKT kompetencijų įsivertinimas lyginant profesinių mokyklų ir bendrojo lavinimo mokyklų mokytojus neišsiskyrė. b) Analizuojant atskiras IKT kompetencijų sritis, išryškėjo, jog bendrojo lavinimo mokyklų mokytojai bazines IKT kompetencijas įsivertino aukštesniais balais nei profesinių mokyklų mokytojai. Tačiau profesinių mokyklų mokytojų nuomonė rodo, jog jie turi daugiau IKT naudojimo etikos ir mokymo(si) proceso su IKT valdymo kompetencijų. c) Mokytojai, turintys ECDL pažymėjimą, neturi daugiau IKT kompetencijų nei neturintys šio pažymėjimo. Rezultatai skyrėsi tik atskirose IKT kompetencijų srityse - vertinant IKT politiką, didaktinių metodų, pagrįstų IKT, naudojimą, mokymo(si) proceso dirbant IKT valdymą. d) Lyginant mokytojų IKT kompetencijų įsivertinimą pagal mokytojų kvalifikacines kategorijas, išryškėjo žymūs skirtumai. Aukščiausiai savo bazines ir technologines IKT kompetencijas įsivertino jaunesnieji mokytojai, mokytojai, neturintys kategorijos, ir vyresnieji mokytojai, silpniausiai - mokytojai ir mokytojai ekspertai.Reikšminiai žodžiai: IKT kompetencijos; Informacinės ir komunikacinės technologijos; Informacinės komunikacinės technologijos; Kompetencijų įsivertinimas; Mokytojo kompetencijos; Evaluation of competencies; Information and communication technologies; Information and communication technologies, teacher ICT competencies; Teacher ICT application competencies.

ENThe article presents the results of a qualitative research, which was implemented in Lithuanian institutions of general education and vocational training. These results reveal teachers’ attitudes towards the competences in the field of application of information and communication technologies, which they have and which should be improved. The research was implemented by employing the method of self-evaluation of ICT competences. Based on the results of the empiric research, one can claim that teachers had very different assessments of their ICT competences: a) self-assessment of ICT competences did not differ between vocational schools and schools of general education; b) when analysing separate fields of ICT competences, it became clear that teachers of schools of general education assessed their basic ICT competences higher than teachers of vocational schools did. However, the opinion of teachers of vocation schools indicates that they have more competences in ICT ethics and training process with ECT; c) teachers holding the ECDL certificate do not have more ICT competences than those who do not hold this certificate. The results differed only in separate fields of ICT competences, i.e. when assessing ICT politics, use of didactic methods based on ICT, teaching and learning processes when managing ICT; d) significant differences where identified when comparing self-assessment of ICT competences according to teachers’ qualification categories. Younger teachers, teachers with no category, and senior teachers had the highest evaluation of their basic and technological ICT competences.
