Reikšminiai žodžiai: Judėjimo ir regos negalė; Asmeniniai ir socialiniai lūkesčiai; Sportinė veikla; Motor and visual disability; Personal and social expectations; Sports activities.

ENSocial pedagogics and psychology sill lack studies of disabled persons’ sporting activities as a significant integration factor. The study, presented in the article attempts to identify the possibilities of satisfaction of psychosocial expectations of persons with different forms of disability with the help of sporting activities. 62 persons of the age from 23 to 48 y. o. with motion and eyesight disabilities participated in the survey. The analysis of the obtained data revealed that the largest group of disabled persons, who go in for sports are people of 31-40 y. o., the number of people, going in for sports reduces with the increase of age. The respondents with motion disabilities experience less communication problems than those with eyesight disabilities. It appeared that the latter feel less secure in the sporting environment. It is likely that the sporting activities of persons with motion disabilities and their organization is more corresponding with the individual possibilities and needs, which create the possibilities to feel secure. When evaluating the level of self-esteem it was established that the self-esteem of the persons with eyesight disabilities, who go in for sports is lower than that of those with motion disabilities. The study revealed that disabled persons insufficiently satisfy their social structural and personal expectations for sporting activities. Both social and personal expectations of the persons with motion disabilities are satisfied better than those of the persons with eyesight disabilities. The possibilities of satisfaction of psychosocial expectations of persons with different forms of disability with the help of sporting activities are not identical: when performing sporting activities persons with motion disabilities satisfy their psychosocial expectations more than those with eyesight disabilities.
