Imaginable common identity: shall we rely on emotions?
LTStraipsnio tikslas - apmąstyti galimas ganėtinai skirtingų kultūrinių kontekstų sąsajas, pasitelkus tarpdalykinį aspektą. Koncentruojamasi į Didžiosios Britanijos rašytojų seserų Bronte'ų ir Lazdynų Pelėdos (seserų Ivanauskyčių) kūrybos lauką, akcentuojant psichologinius veiksnius, galbūt sąlygojusius atitinkamas rašytojų intonacijas ar net pasirenkamas temas. Remiantis komparatyvistų pasiūlytos piramidės schema, daroma prielaida, jog skirtingų literatūrų autorių vienijančiu pagrindu gali būti laikomas mažiausiai kintantis ir lengviausiai skirtingų kultūrų atstovų atpažįstamas asmenybės "komponentas" - emocijos. Pasitelkus negausius Lazdynų Pelėdos biografinius faktus ir studiją apie seserų Bronte'ų gyvenimą ir kūrybą, daroma prielaida, jog tiek lietuvių, tiek britų autorėms būdingos melancholiškos nuotaikos gali būti sąlygotos tų pačių veiksnių - santykių šeimoje specifikos ir tuos santykius veikusios to meto kultūrinės situacijos. Atitinkamų šeimos modelių įtakos gali nulemti asmenybės tapatumo paieškos būdus, todėl šiuo atveju bus kreipiamas dėmesys ne tik į grožinius tekstus, bet ir į autorių biografinius faktus. Remiantis P. V. Simonovo pasiūlyta emocijų teorija, daroma išvada, jog asmenybių panašumai gali nulemti panašias literatūrinių tekstų charakteristikas. [...] Kita vertus, nederėtų kategoriškai teigti, kad specifiniai šeimos modeliai priklauso tik nuo atitinkamų tėvų charakterių ar jų požiūrio į vaikus; šiuo atveju svarbu kultūriniai kontekstai ir tam tikruose socialiniuose sluoksniuose galiojančios taisyklės. Vis dėlto tai, kaip bus traktuojamas vienas ar kitas kultūros reiškinys, priklausys ir nuo emocinės vertintojo būsenos, todėl [...] rasti ribą tarp kultūrinių ir asmeninių faktorių išties sunku.
ENThe article discusses the potential relations between different culture contexts in interdisciplinary terms and concentrates to the field of oeuvre of the British writers Bronte sisters and Lithuanian Lazdynų Pelėda (the Ivanauskytė sisters), emphasizing the psychological factors, which determined the corresponding subjects and tones. Referring to the pyramid scheme, suggested by comparativists, the assumption is made that the least changing element of personality, easily recognized by different cultures’ representatives, i. e. emotions, can be the basis, uniting different authors. By using the scarce biographical facts of Lazdynų Pelėda and the study of the life and oeuvre of the Bronte sisters, the assumption is made that the melancholic mood, characteristic of both the Lithuanian and British authors could have been determined by the same factors, i. e. the family relations specifics and the cultural situation of the period, which influenced the family relations. The influence by the corresponding family models can determine the ways for searching for the identity of the person therefore in the case the attention is drawn not only to the texts of fiction, but also to the authors’ biography facts. Referring to the emotions theory, suggested by P. V. Simonov, the conclusion is made that similarities between personalities can determine similar characteristics of literary texts. [...] On the other hand, one should not flatly state that the specific family models depend only on the corresponding parents’ characters or their view of their children; in this case cultural contexts and the rules, valid in certain social layers are important. Nevertheless the treatment of one or another cultural phenomenon also depends on the emotional state of the observer therefore […] it is really difficult to find the boundary between the cultural and personal factors.
