Ugnis senojoje lietuvių tradicijoje: mitologinis aspektas : disertacija

LTDarbo objektas - ugnies vaidmuo ir vieta lietuvių mitologinėje tradicijoje. Analizuojami ugnies fenomeno ypatumai tradiciniame pasaulėvaizdyje, senajame ikikrikščioniškajame kulte, tradicinėse apeigose, aiškinamasi ugnies dievybės problema. Nagrinėjant ugnies reikšmę senojoje pasaulėžiūroje, daroma prielaida, kad ugnis, būdama vienu pagrindiniu pirminiu pasaulio elementu (greta žemės, vandens ir oro), įeina į įvairių kitų objektų sudėtį, pasireiškia įvairiose visatos sferose, turi kosmogoninę reikšmę. Analizuojant ugnies vaidmenį senajame kulte, bandoma atsakyti į klausimą, ar egzistavo ugnies kultas kaipo toks, ar ugnis tebuvo kulto objektas, aptariami apeiginės ugnies ypatumai, apeiginės ugnies funkcijos. ENThe main purpose of this work is to highlight a role and place of fire in Lithuanian mythological tradition. The article analyses specific features of fire in the traditional perception of the world, ancient pre-Christian cult, and traditional rituals and explains the problem of the deity of fire. After analysing the significance of fire in the ancient perception of the world, the author concludes that fire as one of primary elements (along with earth, water and air), which is a component in various objects and is active in different spheres of the cosmos and plays a role in cosmogony. When analysing the role of fire in the ancient cult, the author tries to find out, whether the cult of fire existed as such or whether fire has been merely an object of the cult and discusses specific features and functions of ceremonial fire.
