Vilniaus aikščių reprezentacinis pobūdis
LTKeičiantis ideologijai, socialiniam ir kultūriniam kontekstui, šių pokyčių reprezentacijai atspindėti pasirenkamos miesto aikštės. Rekonstruojama ar pertvarkoma vis daugiau aikščių, tačiau rezultatai susilaukia kritikos dėl sociokultūrines reikmes netenkinančių aikštės savybių. Disertacijoje išnagrinėta reprezentacinės aikštės samprata, parengta aikščių analizės metodika, kurios esmė – sudarytas aikštės savybių modelis, išskirtos esminės aikštės savybės ir jų charakteristikos, ištirtas jų tarpusavio ryšys ir sąveika. Aikštės analizuojamos vertinant keturis aikščių savybes atspindinčius aspektus: struktūrinį, socialinį, kultūrinį ir psichologinį. Nustatytas analizuotų aikščių reprezentacinis pobūdis. Disertaciją sudaro įvadas, trys skyriai, bendrosios išvados, naudotos literatūros ir autoriaus publikacijų disertacijos tema sąrašas, priedai. Įvade pristatoma disertacijoje nagrinėjama problema, jos aktualumas, tyrimų objektas, darbo tikslas ir uždaviniai, aprašoma tyrimų metodika, darbo mokslinis naujumas, praktinė rezultatų reikšmė, ginamieji teiginiai. Įvado pabaigoje pristatomos autoriaus publikacijos ir konferencijose paskelbti pranešimai disertacijos tema bei disertacijos struktūra.Pirmajame skyriuje nagrinėjama aikštės samprata, formavimo priežastys, atributai, apibrėžiamos miesto aikštės sąvokos, apžvelgiami struktūriniai ir morfologiniai aikščių aspektai, paskirties tipologija, funkcijos, transformacijos. Antrajame skyriuje nagrinėjama reprezentacijos samprata, apibrėžiama reprezentacinės aikštės sąvoka, apžvelgiama aikštės meninės raiškos, ideologijos ir aplinkos architektūrinio konteksto įtaka reprezentacijai. Nagrinėjami Lietuvos ir užsienio autorių taikyti aikščių tyrimo metodų pavyzdžiai, telkiant dėmesį į Vilniaus aikščių reprezentacinį pobūdį parengta aikščių analizės metodika. Trečiajame skyriuje, taikant parengtą metodiką, analizuojamos Vilniaus miesto aikštės. Analizės rezultatai apibendrinami ir aptariami, pateikiami siūlymai aikščių rekonstravimo procesui. Disertacijos tema paskelbti penki straipsniai recenzuojamuose mokslo žurnaluose: du žurnaluose, įregistruotuose tarptautinėse mokslinės informacijos duomenų bazėse (vienas – anglų kalba), trys mokslo žurnaluose. Disertacijos tema perskaityti trys pranešimai Lietuvos konferencijose.
ENChanges in the ideology and socio-cultural context are reflected in city squares selected for representation. As more urban squares reconstructed or redeveloped, the results are criticised for their non-cultural characteristics. The dissertation examined the concept of the representative square, prepared the methodology for the analysis of public squares, mainly focusing on the developed model of their characteristics distinguishing the essential characteristics and investigating their interrelationships and interaction. The analysis of public squares is based on four aspects of their characteristics: structural, social, cultural and psychological. The disertation established the representative character of the analysed squares. The dissertation consists of the introduction, three chapters, general conclusions, list of references, the authorʼs publications on the dissertation topic and annexes. The introductory chapter deals with the research problem, its relevance, describes the research object, formulates its aim and methodology, the scientific novelty and the practical significance of its results. The introduction ends with a list of the authorʼs publications and presentations made at various conferences and provides the structure of the dissertation. The first chapter examines the concept of the square, the reasons for its formation, its attributes, defines the concepts of the city square, reviews its structural and morphological aspects, the typology of the purpose, functions and transformations.The second chapter deals with the concept of the representative square, the interaction between artistic expression and ideology, the interaction between the aesthetics of the square and the context of the squareʼs architectural context. This part of the thesis examines examples of research methods used by Lithuanian and foreign authors, focusing on the representative character of Vilnius squares and presents, the developed methodology for the analysis of city squares. The third chapter, analyses the Vilnius city squares, summarises and discusses the results and makes suggestions on the squares’ reconstruction. Five articles were published on the dissertation subject in peer-reviewed scientific journals: two in journals published in international scientific information databases (one in English), three in scientific journals. The dissertation results were presented at three national scientific conferences.
