ENIn this article we analyse the importance of the incorporation of statuses for the development of each individual through the triangular relationship of father - mother - child and the family relationships processes in the stabilization of identity of the child and how do those processes structure the relationship of each individual with the external, surrounding world, and with themselves. The issue of the status of the father is touched upon as a mechanism, which reveals the rules of relations with authority, which, as Sigmund Freud said, is also the legislator, but at the same time, is an excerption to the same rules or law established by him. We are talking about changes in the complexed processes of today’s society, changes that not only change family relationships, but also, in a deeper sense, structure the society itself, the processes that take place within it, revealing themselves through membership in certain social groups, formations, subcultural movements, manifested through conflicts with authority (the state, the court, the law etc.). Looking at the father’s status crisis, we can clearly state that this is the main cause of personal immaturity that affects the phenomenon of the unfading generation in the twentieth century and in our society of today. This article will help to deepen the understanding that a full-fledged family relationship is not only a prerequisite for the emergence of a mature personality, but also a basis for the creation of the common good of the whole society and of all mankind. In the article, we have deliberately chosen the term used in the sciences of psychology - the status (the function, la funzione (Italian language)), which combines the father as a person and an individual in the symbolic, subconscious, and all other possible forms of expression. We have clearly identified the link between the absence of the father’s status in the family and the mature of the child. When the father is really absent from family relationships, or in some cases, even when the father is physically participating in the family life, but his status is eliminated, the new individual, the child, does not mature. The damaged triangular relationship between father - mother - child raises personal immaturity, which at the social level manifests itself as a compensatory mechanism in the form of mass culture dissemination, and in the individual stages of maturity influences the emergence of gaps in maturity which later influences the adult life choices and decisions. This generation, which seeks to live without a father, we have named as a never-grow generation, a generation of constant adolescence, or a generation gu-gu-gu (nė nė generation).
