LTStraipsnyje pateikta Vilkaviškio, Marijampolės, Druskininkų, Alytaus ir Varėnos miestų gėlių derinių gėlynuose analizė, meninės raiškos priemonių taikymo aspektu. Pagrindinis dėmesys skirtas gėlių derinių pagal sudėtinių gėlyno elementų formų vienovę, proporcijas, kompozicijos vientisumą su aplinka, kontrastų ir akcentų taikymą, spalvų suderinimą, kompozicinio centro, kompozicinio ritmo buvimą. Šie kriterijai retai įvertinami, atliekant gėlynų analizę, todėl tyrimas yra originalus. Reikšminiai žodžiai: gėlynai, meninės raiškos priemonės, pietų ir pietvakarių Lietuvos miestai.
ENThere are internal and external artistical expression means of parterre creation. Internal artistical expression means are unity of parterre composition, contrasts and accents, compatibility of flower colour and facture, balance of parterres parts, arrangement center of parterre, rhythm of arrangement and etc. External artistical expression means are wholeness of parterre and environment forms, unity, perspective, general formation of parterre feeling and etc. Not all flowers are suitable for parterre arrangement. It depends on flower habitus, colour of leaves and blossoms, thickness of flower bush and other criterions. The purpose of this research was to analyze flower arrangement of 5 south and southern west cities of Lithuania, wholeness between parterre and environment, and separate flower assortment suitability in aspect of artistical expression means. There were analyzed 97 parterres in aspect of artistical expression means in 5 south and southern west cities of Lithuania (Vilkaviškis, Marijampolė, Druskininkai, Alytus ir Varėna). It was determined, that proportion between parterre shape and environment is good in almost all cities except Varėna city. There were a lot of small parterres, which destruct unity of green plantation. It was determined that asymmetric parterres are dominant with internal flower combination balance. There were no rhythms of arrangement in almost all cities, except Druskininkai. There were found very contrasting combination of leaves and blossoms. The main colours were red, yellow and blue. There were not found disharmonious colour combinations. Key words: parterres, artistical expression means, South and Southern West cities of Lithuania.
