Be to, matematikos užduotys turėtų būti realios (pritaikomos), sprendžiamos bendradarbiaujant komandoje, įtraukiančios ir išsprendžiamos su programine įranga.
ENMathematics is one of the most difficult study subjects. Practice shows that in the process of learning mathematics, using various information technologies (hereinafter IT), students are better motivated and achieve results. The article provides an overview of the results of various studies related to the motivation of learning in higher education. In order to reveal the peculiarities of learning mathematics using IT, a study was conducted at Kaunas University of Applied Sciences (KUAS) with the participation of 227 first-year students of the Faculties of Business and Technology. The survey was submitted on the online survey platform “Apklausa.lt” and distributed through the postal system at the KUAS. The questionnaire consisted of 10 questions, which aimed to highlight the peculiarities of learning mathematics using various IT tools. Considering the peculiarities of learning mathematics and the abundance of today’s IT tools, the learning environment and learning methods that promote learning activities should be created in the learning process of mathematics. It is advisable to use various IT tools for this purpose. Targeted application of IT tools not only encourages active participation, but also the application of existing knowledge in practice. Based on the results of the study, it can be stated that the application of various IT tools promotes the learning of mathematics. The use of IT tools directly depends on the level of computer literacy, which encourages the acquisition of new IT applications and their application in solving creative / original tasks that do not directly replicate the theory and benefits. Real / adaptive math problems that are solved in a team become inclusive and are solved with software. Even more, learning math through a variety of IT tools opens up opportunities to change negative attitudes towards math.
