Summary / Abstract:

ENThe aim of the research is to identify elements of the content of connection between learning at school and work. Results: BA students are interested in a concrete profession because they have specific skills and know-how prior to their attendance of a university. Practitioners accentuate their reflection of their professional field, realistic attitudes, skills and reflections before, after and during activities, the ability to work autonomously and in a team. Organisation leaders maintain that it is important to have a high level of professional experience and realize polarity between specific and holistic features of their profession. School leaders indicated roles of teachers in the professional education of students – master-professional, servant, spiritual leader. Conclusions: The following phenomena make the content of the relation between learning at school and work: motivation for work in a specific professional field; understanding of professional values; change from theoretician to expert practitioner; evolution from powerless to empowered practitioner.
